My Favorite Hobby

I have many hobbies, such as playing baseball

games, reading comics, and playing the saxophone, but

my favorite hobby is playing Weiqi (圍棋).

Weiqi is also called “the game of Go.” Do you

know what is the best part of Go? I’m always very

nervous when I play it, because I’m afraid I’ll put the

stone at the wrong place. Sometimes I’m too nervous,

so my hands can’t stop shaking. But after the game, I

feel very relaxed and happy, because I know I’m doing

better and better!

I have played Go for 5 years, joined more than 40

contests, and met hundreds of players. When I win, I’m

very glad, but when I lose, I’m very sad. One time, I was

top 4 in the contest, and I really wanted to be the
