There are about fifteen news channels in
Taiwan. A lot of people watch or read the news
every single day. Why is news so important? For
me, I think it helps me know what is happening
in Taiwan and the world. I can learn new things,
and maybe, do something to help the society. It
is important to stay informed, because people
will be less likely to fool you. News helps you
connect with other people and the world. That is
why I usually read or watch the news in my free
