“Hurry up! It’s already 7:30! We’re going to be

late!”

I hear it almost every morning. Mornings are

always chaotic in our house especially on a school day.

That’s why it was very strange when I woke up and the

house was quiet. I lied in bed thinking, it must still be

early. But then I looked at the clock and it clearly read

8:00. I jumped up, ran into my mom’s room, “Mom,

it’s 8 o’clock, we’re late!” “Mom, are you sick? Why are

you still in bed?” Without even opening her eyes, she

said “Calm down, Isabella! The school is closed.”
