For instance, we have a lot of Facebook friends,

but how many of those do we actually talk to. In

fact, we forgot how to interact with people face-

to-face. We pull out our phones even when our

friends are right in front of us. We are glued to

our phones all the time. We miss a lot of

chances to make friends in real life. So, is

technology really making our social life better? I

doubt it.

In conclusion, technology is powerful. We

need to learn to control it, not the other way

around. It is time for us to put down our phones

and talk to our friends. Walk out the door and

enjoy this beautiful planet. And most

importantly, we need to teach the new

generation how to use these powerful machines

we created. We are not slaves of technology; we
